Nelson Mandela International Day (or Mandela Day) is one of the most celebrated days in South Africa, where companies and individuals alike donate their time and/or money to help change the world for the better. It is all about giving, and De Wet De Villiers Brokers decided to be part of the movement.
“Giving of time, funds and of oneself to try and fulfil the dreams of someone else can have an immense impact on our society,” says Thomas De Wet, Chief Executive Officer at De Wet De Villiers Brokers. “What better way to give than to give to those who have no voice and no understanding of why they find themselves in the situation they are in.”
De Wet De Villiers Brokers’ clients and employees celebrated with the true spirit of Ubuntu on 18 July 2018 by donating blankets and food for the animals at the SPCA Rustenburg. It was an emotional and exciting day for everyone.
